R500 Superlight Aluminium Brake test switch wiring (RESOLVED)

Hopefully somebody can help me out *smile*

My brake test switch on my R500 (aluminium Savage push button switch was a bit sticky and in the process of fixing it I stupidly removed the wires without noting which terminals they were connected to *nono*

There are 5 terminals at the back of the switch, a row of 3 and a row of 2.

I have a black wire, a green wire, a white & black stripe which loops into a black & white stripe wire

Are there any fellow Blatchatters that would be kind enough to stick their head under their dash and to check how their brake test switch is wired?

Thanks

John

Managed to get it sorted [smile]

So if anybody else has the same problem here was what I did.

Row of 3 pins are 1,2 3 and Row of 2 pins are A & B

Pin 1 was  +12v feed when ignition on (green wire for me)

Pin A was Earth (black wire)

Pin 2 was the master cylinder reservoir switch (Black wire with white stripe) and (White wire with black stripe)

Pin B was the looped out (White wire with black stripe) from Pin 2

Pin 3 remains unconnected.

I found this image of the switch terminals which was certainly of help.

Hope it helps others
