edmandsd
Anyone know what the difference is between SAE and STP corrected horsepower figures ? Home of BDR700
AMMO
SAE standsfor Society of Automotive Engineers and is the generally accepted standard (apart from DIN,Deutsche Industrie Normen). STP are the American (snake) oil additives company. With STP you just add 3 bhp everywhere to the SAE dyno chart. 😬 That's not true. I just made it up. Have never heard of STP in relation to horsepower figures. AMMO

Nifty
Excellent site Steve. I was trying to describe some of this stuff to a chap on the Road and Track forum the other day when he asked about the difference between HP and BHP.
