robmar
ripped from UHR"I've just read a notice on the Harewood website that due to a three day Gamefair at Harewood House there are major traffic detours in the area on the 1st and 2nd of August. This of course clashes badly with the Harewood Hillclimbs on both dates. It informs that when leaving the Hill climb event competitors should turn left towards Collingham rather than right towards Harewood Village."http://www.uphillracers.com/showthread.php/detours-harewood-beware-p113025.html#post113025http://www.harewoodhill.com/news/article.asp?ID=97Any idea when we see finals? guitarguy
Is it just turn up and pitch for camping..... or do you need to book? (is the camping on your paddock space as per curbs or is it a seperate area?). Was planning to drive up on the morning, but maybe not such a good idea with the additional traffic chaos.... Nigel Fox
Camping is in the competitors parking area, you can get quite near to the paddock. Free, no booking required.
Gill E
In answer to Lynn's question, no I don't think the ESV is going to Harewood.
Comp Scorer
I can confirm that the ESV is not booked for Harewood, after discussions with Paul at the start of the year about usage at various events on previous years, it was considered to give insufficient benefit to justify it. Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted July 28, 2015 Leadership Team Share Posted July 28, 2015 The gamefair has just got a mention on The Archers, so it must be a biggie. They didn't know how to promounce "Harewood" properly though. Who do I complain to at Radio 4?
