Weird *confused* It's gone all black here too.

Β

Is it because:

Β

It's an eclipse ❗ πŸ€”

Β

It's a meteorite about to hit the earth ❗ πŸ€”

Β

My eye's are closed ❗ πŸ€”

Β

It's night time (and home time too) ❗ πŸ€”

☹️ It stopped snowing very soon after - well it turned to rain and the 4 snowflakes that had settled melted away ☹️

Β

On the upside though the weather forecast is predicting very high winds and snow showers. Hopefully I will get snowed in at home and won't have to come to work *wink* 😬

Β

Our heating is broken and it is freezing here...I want to go home.

not sure about the snow today, but it is quite windy...

... we've got heating here but all the roof panels are flapping around and it generally sounds like the building is set to collapse at any moment. roll on the weekend when we move back to a nicer building (but not the shiny new one ☹️)

As when I leave here I want to be an Engineer, I've learned that...

Β

Raising your core body temperature, (with Jumpers or a tyrewarmer round the chest), makes the body try to use the extremities as a sort of radiator, to dissipate the heat. This dilates the capilleries to the hands and allows lots of warming blood to flow through them.

Β

Conversely, blue hands mean the heat is being conserved for the core.

Β

So, I think... Putting a hot water bottle at the back of your neck should warm your hands.
