All weather road tyres

Hi,

Forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong forum - it's my first post!  Can anyone recommend a make and model of tyre that is suitable for all weather road use and is sensible for a new 7 driver?

Thanks Mark

I've opted for A021Rs for the summer months and Uniroyal Rainexperts for the other 10 months of the year. Still driving on the latter this year....and they have served me well so far, with no 'incidents' in the wet/damp conditions we see occasionally here in Manchester.

Thanks for the feedback, I shall look into your suggestions.  I picked up my first 7 last Sunday (driving it home in drizzle) and I can't keep the smile off my face!  It's currently running Toyo 888s by the way.

Most tyres have more grip than ZV3 in the wet. They also have very stiff carcass construction which is utterly at odds with the requirements of a light car. The movement of the centre of pressure of the contact patch introduces many issues, even on a heavy Mercedes!
