Simon.Rogers
You may or may not wish to see it. Its just a pdf document.I think its interesting. It also freezes the lines at key points as it happens.Pictures are as good as a data logger. My Dropbox link to the pdf

Member Jonathan Kay Posted May 19, 2015 Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 Nice demonstration.I don't think you can post PDFs inline. Here it is as a JPEG, but it runs up against the file size limit. When I try and enlarge it that works in the preview of the dialog box, but doesn't in the forum display...Does anyone else have a solution?Jonathan
Simon.Rogers
It was a jpeg I tried to post. Just can not follow the instructions. Correctly I guess! Thanks for helping.
robmar
Thats really interesting Simon, amazing what 0.09s is in lengthAre you able to put speeds on the left se of images as well for comparison...RobPS what sw did you use for that
Simon.Rogers
Ignore the speeds on the right hand one. I forgot to hide the gps info before exporting the video and its not in sync! Its a Garmin Elite camera and its GPS is not suited to car use as it only samples at 1Hz (1 x per second) = not accurate enough.I used Kinovea for the comparrison and then "Sniped" the still image once in sync. Member Jonathan Kay Posted May 19, 2015 Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 Much better. How do you get the image that size, Roger? Is it all done before you upload, or do the adjustments in the dialog box work?ThanksJonathan
Roger Ford
I just used the correct - direct - URL https://www.dropbox.com/s/yq6z1cu2wg1h8n6/page01.jpg?dl=1 and then added it as an image in the usual way.Dropbox does seem to make it hard to find a URL for the actual file, rather than a download page these days. I find it generally works better to put the file in your Dropbox "Public" folder on a PC and right-click and "Copy Public Link".
Member Jonathan Kay Posted May 19, 2015 Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks. In that case it might be possible to improve the resolution further.(I took the PDF and converted it myself and then uploaded the JPEG.)Jonathan
