Area Representative Richard Price Posted April 27, 2015 Area Representative Share Posted April 27, 2015 Thompster,Is it a 1600 or 1800 that you're putting the cams in?If it's a 1600, then you'll benefit from a few more revs.You may find that another "wanted" will yield an SS ECU and immobilizer.Or, you could have your current EU3 ECU modified by ZandF tuning to the same or better effect. thompster Posted April 27, 2015 Author Share Posted April 27, 2015 Hi Richard,it's a 1600 academy engine so an ECU is definatley in order, although I'm not sure how much I can raise the limit without risking the (afaik) standard pistons.I looked at ZandF yesterday so if I can't track down an SS ECU or convince the wife I should buy an Emerald I'll give them a call.
