fordy Posted January 21, 2003 Share Posted January 21, 2003 71194A A-Frame De Dion 96> Spec. Brand new and still in original sealed Caterham packaging. Already has bushes fitted at the outer ends. I bought it in error (my car is pre 96) from someone who did not intend to use it, unfortunately Caterham parts will not exchange it (not surprisingly) so I need to sell to fund the correct one. scooby dooby doo Posted January 22, 2003 Share Posted January 22, 2003 there are two types of aframe in the post 96 era. one is about an inch longer than the other (ie mounts further forward under the chassis and the other types mounts on the chassis further back) Make sure you get the right one. they seem to swap about every 6 months as to which is the production one... The changes are normally to do with the outer position of the bushes. List below are the part numbers and years they will fit: 72099 1991-1996 (+2000 Race update) and 2001.5 onwards 71194 1996-2001.7 only So it looks like you need the 72099.
