Mavic82
Was it Clayton, I can't recall. I have been looking for a used one to no avail so thought I would contact the makers to obtain a matrix. I want to build an improved light version with an enclosed fan and carbon box. can anyone confirm?thanks
Molecular--Bob
My 1990 one was Clayton, but not sure if parts are still available. If you are going to the trouble of making a new enclosure youmight as well source a modern matrix that fits the space. The mr2 mk3 is poular with locosters, might be worth a look?
Mavic82
The MR2 ones seems to be much the same shape as the later Caterham ones. I like the low profile install of the old heater, my current one is fine but I don't want to butcher that for the sake of my project. It is just rather heavy and has a big motor stuck out of the top. I think I can improve on that :-)Thanks for pointer though.the matrix is very similar to a reliant or landrover unit, just the outlets go in different directions.cheers
