washer bottle motor

Does anyone else have the problem where the washer motor stops because ONE of the connectors was turned green with copper oxide? If so is there a permanent solution rather than just clening the terminal are reconnecting - this lasts 12-24 months.

Cheers,

You can get a bottle with no motor from Caterham and a separate pump from Caterham or Halfords. My bottle is at the front of the car and the pump is under the dashboard. The pump was the cheapest one halfords sell. I also plumbed in a one way valve so I get spray straight away. It's quite useful as a cooling system on a very hot day with no screen, provided you don't have any screen wash. *biggrin*
