Message system giving 404 error

As In title, not able to message people, just get 404 not found message

Seems to only be an issue with one thread which is one i started about scuttle rivnuts http://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/rivnut-size-removable-scuttle and only with user Phil 01, and only in that thread.

For some reason the messaging system appears to use the now redundant message-level subject in the URL. That message-level subject (which appears in thread notification emails as a duplicate line) is taken from the first line or so of the message.

If you try to "send author a message" to the post that simply says "Bob YHM ... Phil" then the URL created is:

http://www.lotus7.club/messages/new/7882/Message%20regarding%20Bob%20YHM%0A%0APhil?destination=node/224825

So that includes the whole message including encoded line feeds (%0A).

OTOH if you try the next message, the URL is:

http://www.lotus7.club/messages/new/3539/Message%20regarding%20If%20anyone%20needs%20the%20scuttle?destination=node/224825

which doesn't contain any line feeds.

It would be much more sensible if the message used the thread title rather than the message-level title.
