Type 9 box needs a fully synthetic gear oil (there is a Ford part number for it in the manual, although Comma etc do the oils cheaper).

The Quaiffe LSD in your axle should run an EP75-90 Synthetic hypoid gear oil...it will run on a standard EP90 but I have asked quaiffe and that is their recommendation. They also do NOT recomend slick 50 or alike.

I think that you can purchase HONDA MTF.. fliuds as a superior substitue/alternate to the Redline products for less than half the price from a local Honda dealer. These are currently viewed as significantly superior Synthetic gear lubes in North America at least. Be aware that it comes in two viscosities, by chance(?) the exact requirements stated above.. make sure the Dealer sales person knows what he is giving you.
