Fuel pump - K series - leak around connector

I have recently fitted a new tank. When I removed the old tank and disconnected the electrical feed, I noticed that the connector on the pump side then became loose, thereby making reconnection impossible once fitted to the new tank  - ie. nothing to push against.

Before disconnecting I'm sure i noticed that the black electrical connector on the wiring loom side pushed into the pump connector so that it was flush with the tank.

I asked a local auto electrican if he could refix the fuel pump connector  to the fuel pump body so that it was firm. He has done this but the loom connector now sits about 10cm proud from the tank side.

I now have a major fuel leak from this area....something is not sealing right

Anyone know of a decent pump repair outfit in the Midlands.

Pump works fine - it's just that the leak will screw my fuel consumption*banghead*
