Mankee
Hi folks. Throwing an idea around at the moment, as I've just taken delivery of a pair of new rear calipers to fit to my Skoda to get it through the MOT, as the handbrake is AWOL.While I was looking at them, it occurred to me that there's been talk of people wanting to swap the standard heavy Sierra calipers and carriers for a custom bracket to mount the lighter mk4 Golf type of caliper, the same as that fitted to my Skoda.I haven't got the time to be removing, stripping, rebuilding and refitting the rear brakes on my road car, hence buying the new calipers so that I can slap them straight on one afternoon. But if my old calipers (in green) are of any use to anyone for tinkering purposes and rebuilding themselves to use for a project, please drop me a line. The rules say that I have to state a price, so £45 the pair including courier.
