Warm idle RPM / New Member

POBC,

My first post here despite years of lurking on the forum so a big hello from me!

Following my build last year (sigma 125) I was getting a warm idle of about 1250rpm which I thought was pretty high and it was hunting a fair amount when warm - ECU was reset during PBC which fixed the hunting and slightly reduced the idle. The technician at caterham assured me the tacho is probably slightly inaccurate and that the idle is fine.

Now I've just fitted a set of DRE shift lights (christ they're an awesome gimmick!!) and can see an accurate RPM reading. I'm getting around 1200rpm. So the question is, is this too high or is it ok?

Thanks in advance!

Olly
