A7 OOH Posted February 5, 2015 Share Posted February 5, 2015 Does anyone have a soleniod lying around for the Magnetron starter motor which they want shor of?Checking out the wiring to the soleniod in readiness for fitting an external starting relay I noticed that the connection to the spade side terminal appeared to be connected by silicone mastic- on checking it out I noticed the spade terminal had been sheared off and bodged up by the previous owner.I have managed to solder the wire to the solenoid but I need to do something more permanent and replace the soleniod or worst case buy a new starter complete.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you do visit TA, parking is right round the back of their shop. If you park out the front you will be shot or towed away in minutes due to adjacent railway station.
