SOLD: Carbon front cycle wings

***SOLD***

For sale, one pair of cycle wings in bare carbon.

IMPORTANT: These are *NOT* Caterham wings; I have no idea as to who manufactured them, they came in a box of spares when we bought our car.

They are also a bit shorter (by about 3") than the wings we have on our 15"-wheeled SV so may be more suitable to 13" wheels.

Overall width is around 235mm (they happily sit over a 195 / 8" tyre).

Overall "length" (chord, tip-to-tip) is roughly 550mm.

They are both marked on the underside as "second -20%" which I guess relates to their original sale, and I'd say that's fair as a description (see how the edge doesn't follow a smooth curve in the first picture - the weave orientation and layup itself looks fine).

They've been stored in a box for 2.5 years in our garage and for I have no idea how long with the previous owner. They've been in bubble wrap but the top surfaces do have some minor scratches in the coat.

Weights are 199 and 244 grams, somehow, despite being the same size.

No marks to suggest they've ever been fitted to any car.

They can be flexed easily enough by hand but presumably would be fine once fitted to wing stays.

£100 for the pair, plus delivery costs or free collection from Sheffield (or, as ever, free delivery if you can wait for a sunny weekend when we're not elsewise busy, and you're a reasonable distance via nice roads from Sheffield).

I'm happy to email higher res versions of the above pics and take close ups of some of the scratches if you wish.

Thanks Grubbster - they may well be.

I should say the "imperfections" (to my eyes) appear to be that the edges don't follow perfect curves (as visible in the first pic). The weave orientation looks nicely uniform, it's not creased or deformed, etc.
