Trevor Lunnon
Having removed the spare wheel and carrier, is there an obvious location to secure a can of Tyre Weld? Cable ties in the boot seems the logical answer but is there a better solution? Thanks, Trevor
Dr Slotter
CC seem to cable tie to the middle of the rearmost cross member in the boot (i.e. 'above' the number plate).
TomB
I've cable tied mine to the chassis frame on the rear bulkhead in the boot.
Smithy77
I've wedged mine down behind my seat (along with tool kit and spare cables), although maybe not be so good for taller folk...

nickh7
I've strapped mine with gaffer tape to the intrusion of the damper housing in the boot . its handy and not in the way.I never like putting things behind my seat that are "squashy" as i see it as an impact zone between me and my back if the worst happens and I get rear ended . Trevor Lunnon
Thanks for all your comments.Jonathan, do you have any tool tubes left from the bulk buy? Thanks, Trevor
LazerBrain
Mine is held by a removable cable tie and a velcro strap to the front 'rung' of the passenger seat base. It's out of sight, doesn't rattle and isn't taking up boot space.
Juju
I seem to recall someone on BC indicating that a can of the stuff had exploded in the cockpit of their car with the resulting mess. Best avoided if possible.I have ordered an extra tool tube on JK's bulk buy for that very reason.RgdsJulian

Mark w
Cable tie it in the boot and stick a stanley blade on the can with gaffer tape to ciut the cable tie when / if you need to use it .I find that two large cans fixed bottom to bottom fit quite well in the recess of the channel section at the rear of the boot . Mrp
I use straps like this, so you don't need to cut to use. You can get them online or B&Q. They fit around strut in the boot like the cable ties but you can reuse.Mrphttp://www.cybermarket.co.uk/shop/tools/tape-and-strips/cs-20-bl-velcro-strips-for-individual-987950.html
Guy Lowe
Cable tie it on the chassis rail above the primaries, because it dosen't work very well when it's cold.
SteG
CC just cable tie it centrally and on the rearmost member in the boot.
