Member Jonathan Kay Posted January 15, 2015 Member Share Posted January 15, 2015 Is it affected by the language selected in "Personalised Settings" for the "Information Display"? Page 86 of the Manual. (I doubt that it's that well coordinated but worth trying.)Jonathan
Cookie Monster
Thx JKHe has changed the language now but the voice activated controls still won't respond to English (no doubt it would, if it could, just shrug in a typically Gallic way!) & will only respond to French voice commands.I imagine his French is limited to how to buy a beer & some school boy swear words! Not very useful for an English guy with a belgium built Ford, made for the French market & living in Slovakia! SM25T
Info from an employee at Ford in Köln ....2010 and CD6000 means it is a late C307 (old focus) so not built anymore. Maybe a software bug? Or could be as designed. Could check with our software guys and see what they say. Voice should work when language is set as ours can be controlled in English or German. Ours is new software and model.
SM25T
Also ...Maybe the system needs resetting.
