SJY910
I'm stepping down from building a 1.8 K to a 1.6 K engine because of racing class regulations. I have the following bits for sale: =================================== - Doug Kiddie crank shaft. Cost when bought 1200 UKP + VAT - Arrow conrods. Cost when bought 165 UKP + VAT per conrod All parts untouched in original boxes. I will be in London 27:th of January and can bring the goods if that makes things easier. V7 SLR
Temped for both Peter. Really really tempted. If only I could find something to sell that would cover the cost, I'd definitely go for it. Could I pay monthly? 😬 Worcs L7 club joint AO.//Membership No. 4379//Azure Blue SLR No. 0077//Se7ens List Tours
SJY910
Hmmm Well.... Perhaps not monthly payments after all. But I can understand you are tempted. When I took the parts to Gunnar (the Caterham importer) he started drooling. He took another look at the crank shaft and put all the parts under the bed in their guest bed room. "They are much too good looking to keep in the garage" he said. I can guarantee it. They are so nice you could decorate your home with them. I'll just have to hope that the new parts I'm getting will look as good when they are in the engine. Peter
V7 SLR
I'm serious about selling stuff to pay for it, but alas I believe I've already sold everything of value to get as far as I have. ☹️ I'll have a look round the house this weekend. Camping equipment anyone? Vango tent and 2 x Vango Marcopolo sleeping bags (never used). Trangia stove and implements and another gas powered stove. westy
You have given the cost, but how much will you except for them? (this should be on for sale )
SJY910
ooops... You're right westy. I've had a couple of offers and DKE & Arrow promises to give me what I paid for the parts if I get new parts from them. I'm satisfied with getting what i paid minus VAT.
