JAG
I have read all about fitting a push-bike computer on to my car and in all cases the guy doing the installation attaches the magnet and sensor to the front (non-driven) wheel. Why doesn't anyone put the magnet and sensor on the rear, driven, wheels? Am I missing something vital? All information gratefully received. stevefoster
Longer cable run. Wheel spin will corrupt the odo reading. Easier to run the cable under bonnet and upto dash than along tunnel and up to dash. That's about it really. Trevor had to mount his on the rear wheels for SVA so that they could check the accuracy on the rollers. The rollers presumably only brake/measure and the rear wheels provide the drive. You can see pics of my various installations on my site under more 7 stuff. My racing pics, 7 DIY, race prep.
