Peter Griffiths
I have heard/seen catch tanks ranging from a beer can to a plastic screenwash container. Has anyone tried one of the aluminium tanks from DT? Peter 7 Rosina C7 PRG XFlow + Clams The 24 carat Solution

I.Mupferit
Hi Peter, I've got one of the aluminium jobbies from DT. Not much you can say about it really, it just sits there and does its job but it don't 'arf look sexy when its polished to a mirror finish as mine is BTW Thanks re the offer to collect the wheel bag but Stuart says he will post it anyway as he won't be at the next meeting. SteveP
I bought one of the Mocal tanks from DT at the Autosport Show, but am awaiting for it to be delivered (errm, as well as the car it goes on) Fred, I've seen a picture of your installation and the hoses look really nice - can I ask where from? On Julian Thompson's installation, the second inlet is blanked off - where can I get a blanking plug from? I've done an internet supplier trawl, but I don't really know what I'm after Is it a straight swap for the plastic bottle as supplied from Caterham (same mounting screw holes)? Sorry Peter, not mean't to be a hijack - seemed appropriate rather than creating another thread SteveP
Anthony
Hi, have a look at Julian's web site Tank looks fab. I brought one as well. The VX is slowly transending into a poor facsimile of Jue's car... Regards

Graham Perry
Although not pertinent in your case, I would guard against a plastic one. I fitted a plastic one when I first got my Caterham and the oil melted it. As it was high up on the bulkhead it then dropped 1/2 litre of oil all over the exhaust manifold which nearly caught fire !
