Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted January 13, 2003 Leadership Team Share Posted January 13, 2003 To suit throttle bodies rather than standard plenum - "spade" drive mounting. Stu.
simonpa
Which TBs are they? The Jenvey-based ones (for the K-series at least) re-use the Rover plenum pot. Simon
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted January 20, 2003 Author Leadership Team Share Posted January 20, 2003 KV6 TBs as per SLR, which I believe is the same pot as would be used for the Jenveys. My plenum is the cast-ali Caterham supersport item, which has a strange lever linkage to the throttle pot. The lever controlling the pot is spring-loaded against a lever attached to the end of the butterfly spindle. The throttle pot can actually be moved against the spring pressure without turning the butterfly spindle. this appears to be different than the pot I need. Stu. simonpa
Yuk! The 'standard' pot on the plastic plenum unscrews and then bolts directly onto the spigot on the side of the TBs. If I can find any pictures, I'll post a URL.. Simon
F355GTS
Stu I've got one off a set of KV6's known to be working £20 which is less than 1/2 Caterhams price Mark
reAnimate
Hi, I have a throttle potentiometer that originally came off a my Elise plenum which I then fitted to a set of Rover KV6's which you can have for £10 if you email me your address. 😳 Cheers, Simon
