Lost my front sidelamps (Sigma)

Hi,

Is there a specific fuse for the front sidelamps ? Both sides are down.

I have checked quickly the harness connectors for the headlights and everything seems normal. Everything else (main / dip beams, rear lights, indicators, dashboard lights (gauges and rockers)) works apart these two bulbs. I haven't yet checked if both bulbs are blown and before dismantling the headlights, I wonder if there is a specific fuse ?

No. AFAIK there are separate* L and R side fuses but each feeds both a front sidelight and a tail light.

Check the bulbs,

Then check the feed voltage and earth at the bulbholders.

Christophe first i would open the headlight bowls and seat if there is 12v right up to the bulb holder, as it's both side it's most likely that the problem is in the light itself, make sure the bulb has a good electrical contact.

My second hand sigma had lots of poor quality joints where previous owners had cut the wires to same time during repairs.   I ended up replacing the headlight looms (£5 each).    If your not the first owner I would not be suprised if you have the same problem.

I finally found some time to investigate. Elie was right : a simple check and both sidelight bulbs are out of order. Replaced and all is fine.
