budgie
What are the best reasonably priced 13" wheels, and how much? What do minatours (the wheels the wheels look like? How much are A032r's and where to get them at the best price (185/70).
Drumster
Not sure if you can get 32Rs in 185/70 spec, but if you want 185/70 spec go for the 21R and get them from George Polley I think he still charges about £40 a corner inc VAT. WILL FLY
You can get 032s in 185/60r13 but not 70 profile. you can get 021s in 185/70R13 Why do you need the 70 profile, if it's ride height then wind up the adjusters on your dampers, if it's rolling circumferance then change the gearing in your gearbox speedo drive. a 185/70R13 had a circumference of 1790mm, the nearest 032 is 185/60R14 at 1778 or 195/60R14 at 1802 or if you get 14 inch rims you could also have the new 048R in 195/60R14 at 1783. I believe that all the 032s and the 048 are about 60 quid plus delivery from George Polley. the bottom line depends on what use you are putting the car to and whether you want better wet performance (021) or or better dry performance (032) You don't say how much you want to spend or if weight is an issue. Graham Sewell
And George Polley also does a wonderful deqal on wheels. He quoted just over 400 pounds for 4 Minators with 70 profile A021Rs fitted, balanced and delivered in the UK. Low tech luddite - xflow and proud! Colin Grundy
Budgie, you can get 32Rs in 185/70 but they will need to be ordered and there is a long wait. I finished up going for 21s with new Minators and they were as cheap as chips. Give Steve at George Polley a ring, they are very helpful and about the cheapest you can get. I would however go for the 48Rs now but I think they are a bit scarce.
scooby dooby doo
on another thread is the result of several people chatting to yoko about the 48. its designed for a heavier car than the 7. so 21 or 32 is still the choice (if the CR500 and ACB10 are outside your price range or requirements) HOOPY 500 kg R706KGU
Anthony
Better still rather than change ride height, how about a dry sump and solve your immediate worries over clearance ! Next lowest item is the bellhousing though...
