Member Jonathan Kay Posted November 1, 2014 Member Share Posted November 1, 2014 On the iPad I won't let me upload pics ??? Choose file comes up but is greyed out ?Is that uploading, as in your Profile, or linking to a picture? If it's the former I don't know a solution. The only supported workflow I can see is file navigation, and the file hierarchy is hidden from the user in iOS.Does anyone know if other workflows are or could be supported by the site software: copy and paste, email, URL...Jonathan

Member Jonathan Kay Posted November 2, 2014 Author Member Share Posted November 2, 2014 To insert a picture that is on your own computer: Position your cursor where you want to insert the image in your post, and click the Image button (resembles a couple of mountain peaks). Click "Browse Server", and then "Upload" in the top left of the new window that appears. Selecting "Choose File" will open a file explorer window where you can choose the image file that you want to upload and click "open". Click "upload" and after a few seconds your picture will be uploaded to the server, and appear highlighted in your own folder. Click "Insert File" at the top of the window and the image will appear in an Image Properties window where you can chage the size if required, or simply click "OK" to add it to your post.Thanks. This bit... ?Doesn't allow me to navigate to a file in OS X either. Please could others test and record outcomes with browser and OS.Thread title changed.Jonathan

sjmmarsh
This was uploaded on my ipad2 iOS 7.1.2. I clicked the picture icon at the top of the message box, click 'browse server' then 'choose file'. This allowed me to take a photo or use an existing one. Click upload. Then select the file and click the green tick. job done!it takes longer to explain than do....steve
