Culminator
I'm trying to get to the bottom of why my Freestyle inboard suspension set up is so stiff. I have 250lb "orange" springs fitted and their anti roll bar.On an inboard set up, would an antiroll bar have a pronounced effect on the overall stiffness of the front suspension? ECR
If your anti roll bar is set to stiff, it would stiffen up your suspension when the car is in roll (in a corner). It would have no impact when driving dead ahead on a flat road. Why don't you disconnect the anti roll bar and see what happens ?
Culminator
Thanks Roger, yep that makes sense. The bar is set to "soft" but since posting the original thread, I've found out the problem is solely due to spring rates being far too high.thanks
Simon.Rogers
Which dampers do you have?

Simon.Rogers
I am not sure of the wheel rate with Super Wide. Its simple to measure and I would suggest you do this prior to purchasing any upgrades. Please give me a call and I will talk you through it. Mike Biddle
When speccing up my super wide freestyle set up, Gary advised that a roll bar on the front was unnecessary, and therefore none was fitted. Try it without and see how you get on with it.
