"What's on" pages - Can we specify a location without a postcode?

Another constructive suggestion:

Is it possible to modify the events / what's on editor such that locations can be specified by means other than a postcode?

For example, if you put in the postcode for our regular meeting pub (and from where we often start blats, which attract members who may not have ever been to a meeting), google and therefore our use of google maps flags a building up a long driveway more than half a mile from the actual pub. That building's closer to the centre of the postcode I guess.

The pub itself is "known" on google maps and can be searched for directly by name, when it is found and flagged correctly.

Could the ability to locate an event be modified so as to pass a search term (rather than just a postcode) to google?
