lotusandy
Now that classics kits are supplied with the De-dion rear axle, are there major differences between the classic & the roasport? (other than £3K) Andy
philwaters
Isn't the Classic a 1.4lt and a R/sport a 1.6? Otherwis I am not sure there is much in it. Aero's on the Classic, but you can swap that, but it will cost as you'll end up specing full weather gear then, etc... then 2 years later you'll buy Aero's anyway and screen and hoot sit in the garage.... Phil Waters You mean you can drive these? I thought it was just there to polish 😬
Alias
I was wondering about this. Could you buy a new classic, put a 6 speed box and the supersport kit and get yourself a brand new 1.4SS. Would be cheaper than a roadsport and much more fun. (Signature in no way indicates any bias!!!) One car - 1400 Supersport with 6 gears and clamshell wings.
