TobyCoulson
N/S/F packed up yesterday and replacing seems straight forward enough according to the hand book. Anything I should be aware of that's not covered in the manual?
Member Jonathan Kay Posted August 31, 2014 Member Share Posted August 31, 2014 No. But please could we have a photo of you active on the left wing? :-) Jonathan PS: It's a bit early for Christmas in the Subject line.
TobyCoulson
Thanks. I'll put my L7C mankini on especially for the photo shoot. 😬
TobyCoulson
It wasn't the bulb but the earthing strap screw at the front of the bulb holder that was the cause of the problem. Oddly with it tightened right up the indicator didn't work so I loosened it by about four turns and now it's fine.
Member Jonathan Kay Posted September 5, 2014 Member Share Posted September 5, 2014 I don't know if this is genuine, a wind-up or a word game... ... you don't want to end up with a screw loose. Other word orders are available. Jonathan
TobyCoulson
The screw is not loose it's just not screwed all the way in.
eagle
Apologies if this is telling you how to suck eggs, but... If it's the length of the screw [ahem!], then you could try a shorter screw (or remove some of the tip) to allow it to be fully tightened. I think there was a thread about this in the last few weeks.
