FH
*eek*No "big bangs" I hope One of my perfectly trained 'gundogs' tries to hide under my sweater whenever a shot is fired 😳 FH
Boonie Hound
I have warned him about big bangs - however he is known for adding a bit too much ingredients to the mix. I don't understand Chemistry - it's all magic to me - but I suggest bringing goggles and flame proof underwear.

FH
Well, I've just done a 'dry run' so to speak. Pelham was happy enough to don my wet weather trousies, gilet and a flying helmet but baulked at the goggles Baz on the other hand, just lay on his back looking stoopid and wouldn't play dollies at all ☹️ FH
Violet Elizabeth
Goggles for Doggies here We usually have 4 "highly trained gundogs" at our house for Bonfire Night (the viallge has a HUGE bonfire and fireworks display) - and they just run about like mad things barking at the bangs .... but woebetide anyone comes near them with anything as scary as a plastic bag

Boonie Hound
FH - 😬 😬 😬 Sorry you have just made me laugh out loud in the office. I can just imagine you wrestling the dogs. Can you try it with mine if you are succesful - she sometimes has a neckerchief but looks very embarrased - I think other dogs may pick on her when we are not looking and call her names. She must be the only German Shepherd that runs away from small dogs - the problem is she is happy to square up to much larger hounds.
