Alan Bowler
Elie - Malcolm did try getting his Caterhm up to the magic 88 mph once, but bottled out at 55. Background: a small entry at this sprint event meant two classes were merged. One class (me) ran on budget list 1A road tyres. The other class (Englishidiotinwales Malcolm Hickey) ran on super soft near slick racing Kumho tyres. He beat me by a fraction of a second. As this trophy is rightfully mine as I was clearly the better driver on the day he should return it to me. He's enjoyed it for long enough now. So, I will give £10 to Surrey Air Ambluance here for its safe return to my trophy cabinet. AB
Englishmaninwales
OK Alan, As you have an empty trophy cabinet, and your feelings have been sore for so long I'll consider letting you have it, under the terms in your post. I'll match your £10 too But, I have had emails from other people interested in the trophy, so there may be some who might not want you to have it

Englishmaninwales
But Alan, too soon - I've had 2 offers by email that are for more than your donation 😳 so I won't be sending just yet. Your donation has gone to a good cause though
The Headmaster
The Hat knows everything there is about Tyres and relevant grip. Don't wind him up to much as he is already sore about last weekends poor performance
Alan Bowler
I was distracted by 0.9s by the view of my hat strung up on Curborough's flagpole I have raised a complaint to the FIA to have a 1 second penalty added to the times of all other class 2 competitors. Alan Bowler
Pehaps a good thing "The Hat" wasn't stuck up the flagpole on Saturday to observe the standard of driving... Â Â Â Â Â Â [runs and hides]
