2009 S3 Superlight 150 for sale

It looks like it's time to sell my Caterham, I've spent a couple of weeks rejigging it to resolve an issue with my back, which has been sucessful. However, as life sometime does, a change of focus means that it's not going to get used much over the next year & it seems sensible to sell it.

 

So for sale is my 2009 Series 3 Superlight 150,

1.6 Ford Sigma 150bhp engine,

Just over 8000 miles,

New (purchased from Caterham and fitted last week) R500 Carbon/Kevlar Tillett seats. These were £1500+.

Full Weather kit,

6 speed gearbox,

Limited Slip Diff,

Lowered driver and passenger floor,

Quick release steering wheel,

Heater,

Carbon dash,

Push button start,

Front Widetrack Suspension,

Carbon front wheel arches

Uprated brakes,

Track day roll bar,

Caterham Carbon Aero Screen with carbon mirrors,

Soft bits for Sevens half hood,

Soft bits for Sevens tunnel bag,

Soft bits for Sevens hood bag.

I nearly bought this car about 18months ago from Caterham south? - I went for Sevens and Classic's similar spec. S3 SL150 in the end seen here in metallic orange with my brother's Mk.1 1800K dry-sumped std mk.1 '99 superlight.

 

I will check with Gareth though - as 7s and classics have offered to buy his mint 10,000 mile mk.1 Superlight - so I'll ask him today if he fancies an upgrade to a mk.2 SL150 like his big brother :)

Lee I can fairly confidently say 'Dibs' on your car on my brother's behalf. He's currently winging his mk.1 superlight has 4 carbon wings and nose, whereas the mk.2 has just carbon front wings, and that it would be nice if he can repaint the white stripe black and fit black side decals like his existing car (each to their own I guess), but apart from that I think he'll love it when he sees is and will potentially be great to have a matching pair between us (as its almost identical to my 2010 Sigma SL). I have emailed you contact details and speak to you later re. the b/h weekend

Once my back has fully recovered i think a set of Tilletts will be fine. The injury isn't the only thing making me sell the car & i'll likely be back in the Caterham fold next year at some point.
