finmac
Need to remove my rear arches for repaint, so need to drill out and re rivet the internal panels. Wondering what size rivets do I need to buy and a recommendation for a decent supplier? Cheers!

Klunk
I use an eBay seller called "abouttownbolts" for all rivets and rivnuts. NTDWM but always been pleased with their price/service *thumbup* Giles
Myles
If anyone does have some left over, I could do with some too - having just drilled out the five ts in the cockpit to fit the cage at the weekend...

Jonathan Jonathan I know the archive is useful but...sometimes it is quicker and more simple to just ask the question and get a useful answer inside 1 hour compared to trawling through 52 threads in the archive, some of which are over 10 years old. I suppose it depends on how much time one has to spare and how up to date the advice needs to be. Malcolm

You will need some for stone guards.

(There are a couple in the boot which are obviously accessible both sides but the ones towards the front of the car are hidden)
Mankee
The front three are rivnuts, so should just unwind, without needing to remove the interior panels.
Jonathan Kay
Are you sure that they aren't fitted into threaded fasteners rather than needing a bolt (and access) on the back... ? Jonathan Kay
PS: Do you know about fitting nylon bolts? The idea is that they break before the body or wing is damaged. Jonathan
