Boris Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 The reason I suggested disc utility is that when I recently trashed files from a D2Xs in finder for some reason although finder no longer showed the files they stayed on the card. I agree this is unusual, but I needed to use disc utility to clear the card. Therefore it seemed best to offer Zetec a sure fire result first time. Finder actions. - Unless it's been updated recently (quite possible I don't really keep on top of it) the suggested workflow for GoPro files is to run it through CineForm to get the colour profiles correct and into a file format that more editing software understands more reliably. Rattie Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 The latest GoPro Studio (they've removed most of the CineForm branding now) even does fisheye correction and is a good thing to use for first cut treatment of footage and basic editing. If all else fails, you can use the camera itself to format the card. It's the bin icon in the settings menu. Might you have the read only switch set on the card/adapter?
