A few questions

First many thanks to those that advised earlier regards wheels and tyres, original wheels now refurbished and fitted with A021's.

 

Can anyone advise:

 

Which yellow to match a 2002 car - need a couple of touch ups.

 

Which headlight bulb to buy from halfords, was looking at the increased brightness + 125%

 

Should adjustable platforms be screwed to the top, ride height more than fine but suspension seems hard. Does weight of driver affect which position should be.

 

Many thanks in advance and hope to learn more about seven as I go along.

The closest match for yellow is VAU 51U Cargo Yellow, adj. platforms always go on the body side of the shock absorber, if you want a softer ride I guess you need softer springs, unless the springs are seriously compressed but that is unlikely.

Headlight bulbs are H4 type

Some of the super bright bulbs don't last very long. With the bowls up on stalks vibrating away, it seems to shorten their life.

I have had found the Philips brand pretty good & they are brighter.

If the platforms are wound to the top you may need to move the circlip up... Get it flat floored at a specialist?

 

I used the Philips Extreme something or other, they were ok, but you still needed good eyesight. They're not in an ideal position and nor are you!
