AndyD
I'm looking for glass replacement for my SV's heated screen after it got hit by a sizeable rock on a blat yesterday. Ideally with silver aluminium surround but could consider black with a view to fitting the glass in my existing surround. I'm not interested in buying new from Caterham and before I replace with a new piece of laminated glass without heating elements I thought I'd see if anyone has "gone aero" and now has an unused screen in need of a good home. revilla
Check whether your insurance will cover it? Mine did and waived the glass excess when I said I would fit it myself. I just bought new from Caterham and sent them the receipt for which they reimbursed me.
AndyD
Sadly I don't have windscreen cover as I took track day cover on an Aviva policy through Competition Car Insurance. I thought it better to have the rest of the car covered as a track novice but Sod's Law states that the screen was bound to be hit on the road. AndyD
Thanks Barkalarr. I had a look and even at that price think I will get some un-heated glass cut by a local place. Only a second-hand one would make financial sense otherwise... Cheers, Andy
