fordy
I bought a cheap a-frame at the weekend but fear I bought the wrong type. The part I bought is brand new and still in its packaging but says its for post 96 dedion chassis. My car is a 95 1.4 SS and therefore has a slightly different chassis and suspension geometry apparently and the parts catalogue lists a different a-frame for this chassis. They look the same on initial looksee. Anybody know if it matters or can tell me what the difference is?
Stuart Faulds
I suspect it'll be too short for your car. I tried to fit the a-frame to a new kit at the weekend, only to discover the a-frame supplied was way too long, and it turns out it's an older type. scooby dooby doo
there are two types and they've swapped about every 6 months for the last 5 years. the difference is that one type is about 1.5" longer than the other - ie is slightly taller if you stand it up to make an A shape.
