Schroth 6 point harness in date

Schroth Hybrid 11 as per MSAR web site these are a great race / road 6 point harness and ideal for a Caterham new £345 + vat *eek*Yours for £100 inc uk postage.

In date until 2017, Works well with a Hans device, 3" shoulder, 2"laps, 2"crutch, Rotary Buckle, Clean and in original box

Are these only suitable for use with HANS or can they be used without?

 

And when you say "in date until 2017", are they dated 2016 (ie until the start of 2017) or 2017 (which would be the end of 2017).

Hi Roger The harness can be used with or without a Hans device it has the moulded ribbs under the shoulder harnesses to fit into the moulded ribs on a Shroth Hans device, Which locates the shoulder harnesses better in a Shroth Hans device.

This is a FIA approved belt and dated Not valid after 2017 so i assume valid until 31-12-17

OK by me. I'm not really happy with the idea of 2 inch belts without HANS.

Schroth approve of 2"and 3" schroth shoulder straps with or without their Slip Stop technology and use for with or without their Hans device, We personally would only use a 3" shoulder strap in a race car. And the Hans device we use has small wings to reduce the possibility of the harness sliding of the shoulder. And the one i am selling has 3" shoulders
