Graeme Smith
Both my headlamp glass are broken, and I'm due a MOT in a few weeks time. Caterham are out of stock until the end of the month. Anyone got a headlamp glass sitting in their garage (pereferably two)?

Neil McIsaac
Go to your local motor factors and buy two 7" sealed beam units, I had to replace mine for the same reason as you and they cost £10 each. Just make sure you get the units with the side light fittings. Regads Buzz

Graeme Smith
Thanks all. I've actually got until early Feb for the MOT, but I'd like to get it done early in case there's any problems. The sealed beam units from a motor factors sound interesting - got any more details (supplier, part no?) - the motor factors I went to this morning didn't think they could get one with a side light fitting. Do they just fit straight into the headlamp shell?
Martin H
Graeme - wouldn't non-standard headlamps breach the regs for Grads? (even if you are the Chairman ) - or do you just want them for the MOT and then to swap them back?
