tbird
well interesting afternoon, down side roll bar needed to come off, upside, could be done with shocks in place, stupid thin head bolt, can see no logical reason on CSR for using that bolt, certainly won't be going back in, had to grind down a 14mm socket to get them out. now POBC, are the two reduced head bolts 1/2" AF (me being lazy can check tomorrow :-) ) anyone know what thread they might be any reason not to use stainless to refit roll bar, seems to me most of the force on roll bar if car flipped would be taken by the sockets the bar sits in not the bottom retaining bolts what do people do instead of the foam strips to protect chassis from tank and Vice versa I was wondering about wrapping the chassis members with self amalgamating rubber tape, but wondering if it could trap moisture and cause corrosion. any thoughts gratefully received Tim Edited by - tbird on 23 May 2014 00:26:
