Shoots U Sir
Visiting sis in the States and strolling down the waterfront in Yorktown we were passed slowly by one of these in black and chrome doing the cruise as many of the cars do here past the beach. Not really my cup of tea but must admit it looked quite striking (at least compared to some of the other cruising cars, 90's Mustang anyone!) Blokko
Maybe I should add this to my list of possible weekend cars for my stay in the US  I'd never heard of them, but fortunately Wikipedia came to the rescue 😬
Ian B
I saw a Plymouth Prowler over here in about 1999. Quite a striking design and I seem to remember thinking I might like one (that was before I discovered the seven of course!).
Shoots U Sir
Hey Steve, thanks for the wiki link. That is indeed what was prowling the water front, don't recall those big plastic bumbers on the front though, looked much neater as it approached, I guess they may be removed. Ian B
ISTR they didn't have the plastic bumpers when they first came out, but had to have them retrofitted in the USA market in case any pedestrians got their heads stuck between the wheel and the body  Maybe that's something to look forward to for the seven 😔
