Graham Perry
The facet silver top has been the one that most people have used over the years along with a filter king device to reduce the fuel pressure that reaches the jets. The problem is that these are notoriously unreliable and you either get a good one or a bad one. It is important that it is mounted the correct way up and close to the fuel tank. If you look in the archive you will see that a few others have been tried recently, I seem to recall that Roger King now recomends another make based on the aforesaid Facet unreliablity
stevefoster
3 of us from Hants (north) and Berkshire area are / were running the Webcon pump (2 on 2.0l Zetecs and 1 on 2.0l VX EX) . Avail from James Whiting. These have proved very reliable and are cheaper than the Silver top. I had Silver top hell with 3 different pumps before I found the Webcon one, all prefiltered in the same way, nuff said really! They may have improved..... /Steve My racing pics, 7 DIY, race prep. Casbar
I've been using a Facet Red Top for 3 years and have had no problems. Also have a Filter King, guess I must have been lucky, as others have had problems with the Facets
