Budjuggler
I have a ST8120. The speedo readout is fine up to 82moh. After this, in the high 80s it will flick between the actual speed and a random number in the low 80s. Any higher and I just get random flicking between numbers ranging from 60s to 90s. Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions?
Grim Reaper
I've been getting this since the last day of my european jaunt last year, still doing it now but it only seems to be at higher speeds and it does appear to be intermittent (first real run out this weekend since engine refresh). I'm going to try moving the sensor a bit closer to the hub bolts to see if that cures it.
Support Team Shaun_E Posted May 6, 2014 Support Team Share Posted May 6, 2014 Try moving the sensor closer to the bolts. If that doesn't fix it you probably need a new sensor. You can get them half the price that Stack charge - search techtalk for the supplier and part number or drop me a line and I'll dig it out for you. Mark Durrant
It could be the drivers eyesight 😬 but if a replacement wheel speed sensor is required see here
