Camcorder

I can't justify £400-£600 for a new one just to strap it to the roll bar half a dozen times a year - I can't think what other use I might get out of one, I know the wife wouldn't contemplate "that" sort of videoing 😳 *smile* (as much as I pleaded)

I just want to plug it into the TV (not necessarily PC) and review some of my hillclimb/sprint runs - not to impress the relations of course! A remote mic would be nice to cut out the wind noise.

Has anybody got a suitable low cost used camcorder out there that is now dormant due to upgradeitis?

WWW.Ebay.co.uk should sort out a good camcorder. Got one for my father (not latest tiddler size, but all working ok) inc case leads new tape etc for the princely sum of 35ukp inc P & P!!!!!

Doesn't matter if it falls off the roll bar mount at that cost eh?

*wink*

I have an old camera - Sony Video8 one - CCD-TR705E (PAL)

Yours for £150 inc p&p (if I can find all the leads etc!) Works fine although never tried it on the car. Has a remote mic socket.

Also has analogue in so should work with a bullet cam.

Can e-mail you a pic of it if you want.
