KenEvans Posted December 28, 2002 Share Posted December 28, 2002 I can't justify £400-£600 for a new one just to strap it to the roll bar half a dozen times a year - I can't think what other use I might get out of one, I know the wife wouldn't contemplate "that" sort of videoing 😳 (as much as I pleaded) I just want to plug it into the TV (not necessarily PC) and review some of my hillclimb/sprint runs - not to impress the relations of course! A remote mic would be nice to cut out the wind noise. Has anybody got a suitable low cost used camcorder out there that is now dormant due to upgradeitis? Got one for my father (not latest tiddler size, but all working ok) inc case leads new tape etc for the princely sum of 35ukp inc P & P!!!!! Works fine although never tried it on the car. Has a remote mic socket. Also has analogue in so should work with a bullet cam. alex@alexwong.net Can e-mail you a pic of it if you want.
