Jonathan H
Just bought a Hero 2 and it needs an SD card, can someone recommend a suitable card. I presume there is no point buying a faster card than the camera can handle? Cheers Jonathan
mav
32gb class 10. I run Integral and Sandisk genuine sd cards. worth buying form reputable dealers to avoid crap chinese copies.
ChrisC
Got a Amazon (Amazon supplied) 64Gb Class 10 ScanDisk ultra, which has had no problem recording 4K from my 3+ Black, for the sum of £32 😬 Check its Amazon supplied, and genuine ScanDisk. Roger Ford
Quoting Jonathan H: I presume there is no point buying a faster card than the camera can handle Can make it faster to copy the footage off the card onto your PC. Really no point in buying anything less than class 10 with current prices.

Gary Stone
My Hero 3 is a micro sd card. I suspect Hero 2 might be to. Just a mention I case that's been over looked.
Roger Ford
No, 2 series takes full size cards, 3 and 3+ take micro. That said, if there's little difference in price it might be worth getting a micro card and adapter, as then it will also work in micro SD gadgets.
