Guest
I have a slightly weeping samco hose on my new seven (1.6 K). It is the small diameter hose (I'm guessing 17-19mm ish), about 6inches long, which goes from the top of the expansion tank to a section of black tubing lower down. I tried nipping up the jubilee clip with a socket/ratchet, and whilst it reduced the leak it is still ever so slightly weeping. I'm not sure how much tighter I can go before striping the jubilee or crushing the plastic flange of the expansion tank. Would one of these clampy things help? Or any other suggestions? Ian B
Hi Ian, I could be interested in a set in a variety of sizes for my silicon hoses and new heater connections. Not sure of sizes but probably same as yours! Are you at Plough tomorrow as could sort something out then?

Mankee
Ian, when do you need to know by? I'll be needing 7, possibly more, clamps of varying sizes for when I change the boost pipe on the Skoda for a shiny SFS item. Problem is that I haven't got the pipe yet to measure the sizes! Mankee
OK cool. Strangely enough, someone on Briskoda has just fitted one, so I've asked if he's got the clamp sizes. I'll get back to you!

Guest
My offending hose turned out to be 25mm, pretty much the only size you haven't got! I'm out
