Track advice

Recommended Posts

Hi All. I have had my 7 now for several weeks and would like to take it to a track and get some driving guidance (riding shotgun and then trying it myself) so that I can enjoy it more on the road and better understand the handling and limits (responsibly of course).

I am in North Yorkshire. The car doesn't have any FIA set up at all and I would prefer not to have to make any changes for the limited times that I intend to take to the track.

Any ideas please?

I can't tell how much you know already.

Do you know about the ways that track days are often organised: "open pit lane" and "sessions"?

Preparation of most 7s for a trackday is very simple and obvious.

There's lots in the archives on first trackdays: I suggest you have a look round and come back with specific questions.

The instructors have seen it all before: don't worry about that.

:-)
