SvenDriver
What's the best pressure to run Pilots (15") at to get the 'best' - relatively speaking - from them? Edited by - SvenDriver on 22 Dec 2002 10:25:
c21vhpd
SvenDriver, I would say it depends on what size they are, but the correct answer is of course 0psi . I recently changed from Pilots to Yoko A539s on my 21, and even though 539s can only really be considered a budget tyre, I'm much much happier with them in the wet. Even the vast monstrous weight of the 21 wasn't able to make the Pilots work hard enough to do any good... For reference, I ran my 205/45 16" Pilots at 16psi and I've started the Yokos on the same. eric
pilots are happy with 1.5 bar in 15" For 1 year I have now A539 yoko, I can confirm they are really better regards
murph7355
c21's first answer is the righ one as he notes. Get a set of Yoko 21Rs. Start with them around 18psi and never look back.
