Guest
Would it be possible to have hyperlinks within forum posts to open in a separate window? Once I've clicked a link, I will often close the window, forgetting that the forum window is no longer open. This is only my personal preference and will accept the will of the many. Member Jonathan Kay Posted March 24, 2014 Member Share Posted March 24, 2014 ... do you know how to do that within your own browser? I prefer it the way it is and then control at the client end where it appears. Jonathan

Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted March 24, 2014 Area Representative Share Posted March 24, 2014 The way it is set-up gives the user the choice. If it went to another tab or window there would be no alternative. Depending on the linked item, I make different choices.
Guest
I can't RMC on my stylus. I don't use a mouse very often (there's one around here somewhere). I'm sure I'll get the hang of windows closing behind me. Thanks for the suggestions.
Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted March 24, 2014 Area Representative Share Posted March 24, 2014 Ah, that is an insuperable problem. I very rarely follow links on a tablet for that reason. You will get used to it (I hope).

Guest
Jonathan, don't worry, I'll be fine with holding 'ctrl' and clicking to open new windows. I was just being a lazy so and so For what it's worth, I live on an ageing MacPro with OS 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard, I think) browsing with Firefox 27.0.1.
